#StepForChange
Join us in breaking the cycle of poverty for 40 families in rural Tanzania

This year, we are trying to reach our target of £10,000, which will support 40 disadvantaged families in rural Tanzania for a year. For each of these families, ACT will support the education of one of their children and provide them with an animal as an income generation project, which they can utilise as a self-sufficient source of income. That is 40 homes where food will be on the table, 40 families where education is still an option, and 40 widows who can overcome the financial barriers to providing for their children.
If you want to help us reach this target – get involved!
We’re inviting you to challenge yourself to a fundraising event. For example, you could run a half-marathon, cycle 100 kilometres… it’s up to you! All the money raised through your fundraisers will go towards the same goal: breaking the cycle of poverty for 40 families in rural Tanzania.
If you’re interested in helping out, get in touch with us and we’ll organise your fundraiser for you. You can send us an email (office@africanchildtrust.org.uk), or message us on our social media platforms, and let us know what fundraising event you’re planning on doing. We’ll get back to you and let you know how we can support you during your challenge.
