ACT SECURES FUNDING FROM INVESTMENT ONE!

ACT is proud to announce that we have received a generous donation from Investment One, one of the fastest growing companies in Nigeria and a leading player in the Nigerian financial services industry.

In May, our Managing Director, Kunle, visited the Investment One team in Lagos. Together, they discussed our ongoing projects in Ayobo-Ipaja, Alimosho. As discussed in our most recent blog, Alimosho is a deprived area on the outskirts of Lagos that is characterised by abject poverty, densely packed and precarious housing, and a lack of basic sanitation infrastructure.

ACT aims to transform the Ayobo-Ipaja community by educating orphans and fatherless children through our Child Sponsorship Programme, by dismantling barriers to girls education through our Dignity for Girls: Period Poverty Project, and by providing a sustainable supply of clean water through its Solar Powered Borehole Project (click here for more information).

With Investment One’s support, ACT is closer to funding these crucial projects – and together, we are closer to breaking the cycle of poverty and raising living standards in Ayobo-Ipaja.
